Stem Cell Training Schedules

The Basic Stem Cell Techniques class is offered quarterly. Researchers with special needs or those who are unable to attend the regularly scheduled training sessions can contact us to request individual training. Researchers wishing to learn advanced techniques should contact us for a consultation.

Embryonic and iPS Cell Techniques, July 13-17

The Center for Human Embryonic Research and Education will be conducting a week-long course in July to the basic techniques necessary to grow human embryonic stem cells and induced pluripotent stem (iPS) cells.

Also covered:

Lectures on how to derive iPS cells

Training for people interested in doing iPS cell derivation

Infrastructure necessary for getting consent and collecting cells for iPS
